In 1959, Yip Koon was inspired by his father - Yip Zhi Lo, a famous chef in Guangdong. The passion and persistence of gourmet encourages him to establish his snack kingdom "Koon Wah Food" and opens his mega manufacturing plant in Hong Kong. His son John further introduces the concept of "Snack Specialty Store" in the megastore and the huge neon sign built one of the landmarks in Kowloon in the 50ths. Now "Chef John" becomes familiar to most of us, with John's creative and integrated snacks into our regular dishes. 

On market development, Vincent has his thought aiming to bring Koon Wah Food and the best element to the world. Introducing the "Koon Wah Snack Culture" all over the world.
